President • ALAINA HUMMEL

As Ms. Philadelphia Leather 2016, Alaina was able to pursue her goal of supporting grassroots organizations within the LGBTQ+ spectrum. For the past five years, she has furthered this work as a member of the board of Folsom Street East. Her financial acumen, professionalism, and egalitarian approach to organizing saw her elected as Treasurer of FSE in 2019 and then President in 2023. A deep love of community brings her to kink events nationally and internationally. She has sat on the panel of judges for Ms. Liberty Leather, Mr. Philadelphia Leather, Mr. Virginia Leather, Mr. New England Leather, and Mr. Eagle NYC. As a fixture in the Philadelphia nightlife scene on both sides of the (Leather) bar, Alaina relishes her role as a mom (or dad) to many.

Vice President • Eric Lee

Eric Lee is an artist, silkscreen printshop owner, and event producer. He loves working as part of a team and having a laugh. Eric is passionate about sex positivity, healthcare for marginalized communities, and getting people the fuck out of prison. Eric’s favorite song is “Rock Lobster” by The-B52s.

Treasurer MIKEY

Mikey enjoys volunteering at different pride/kink events around the country and hates writing bios about himself. He’s worked with some incredible people and loves working with everyone for FSE. He enjoys traveling, candy, bondage, other kinky things, and alcohol (not necessarily in that order).

Secretary • Jaime

Jaime is a leatherman who is co-founder of and planning lead for the Gotham Kennel Club, NYC’s premier all-inclusive pet play group, as well as co-host of Cap’n and the Bandit Presents Leather Nights. His kink passions lie in leather, restraint bondage, flogging, and community organizing.

AT LARGE • SHERRI RASE

Award winning Pride activist Sherri Rase brings a wealth of experience to Folsom Street East. Her early leather community work began with Women's Erotica Night in Philadelphia as part of the production team, through friends in the Asbury Park Leather Family as well as several Mr. Fire Island Leather sash holders. Providing direction and service is how she changes the world.

AT LARGE • KENZO

KENZO (He/They) has been an activist, educator, and party promoter for Kink, BDSM, Leather and LGBTQ+ rights for the past 10 years. Through the years, they've cultivated wisdom and shared experiences, fostering camaraderie and active engagement. In 2022, KENZO the title of Mr. Eagle NYC 2022,and breaking barriers as the inaugural Black and Latino Northeast Puppy titleholder in 2020 and 2021.

Formerly serving as Vice President of ONYX NY/Northeast (2020-2022) and currently the ONYX NY Northeast Road Captain (2024), KENZO is the visionary founder of NYC ABDL, Gotham Kennel Club, Kinkopedia, and the Leather Mart at The Eagle NYC. KENZO is Internationally recognized as a leader among peers and community, they organize, sponsor, and host Queer Inclusive and Safe Kink Friendly events globally, attracting attendees from diverse backgrounds.

In 2022, KENZO received the prestigious Mufasa Ali Lions Strength Lifetime Achievement Award, a testament to their impactful contributions in Leather and Kink. Their leadership is further underscored by twice earning the ONYX New York Northeast Brother of the Year award and receiving the Anomaly Certificate of Gratitude.

Guided by the principles of "Be the change you wish to see in the world" and "Always live your true authentic self," KENZO epitomizes a fierce spirit and boundless imagination. Beyond personal success, they champion the narrative that Queer Black individuals in leather and Kink can be powerful leaders within the community, dispelling stereotypes and forging a path for inclusivity and authenticity.

AT LARGE JOHN

John (he, him, his) has dedicated nearly a decade to organizing pride events in NYC. His most cherished achievement involved coordinating the floats and marchers lineup for 2019 World Pride: Stonewall 50, commemorating the 50th anniversary of the 1969 Stonewall Riots. Before joining the FSE Board of Directors in 2023 he was originally a proud volunteer the previous two years. When not advocating for LGBTQIA+ rights, he can be found at the local bookshop, a Drag Race viewing party, and savoring an overpriced iced oat milk latte. He embraces sex positivity, individuality, and being a voice for the introverted.
